Vitalizaiion Act of 1964.
This law established a com-
petitive program for fout-
year ROTC scholarships
which may be valued between
$5,000 and $9,000, depending
on the tuition charged at the
various colleges and univer-
sities offering the ROTC pro-
gram. It also provides a two-
year program for young men
who attended junior colleges
not offering ROTC instruc-
tion or other qualified fu-
dents not participating in the
ROTC basic course (the first
two of a four-year course).
Major Wilson is traffic
manager for the Monsanto
Company. Alvin. He received
a bachelor of arts degree in
economics from Texas A&M
University in 1949 and is also
a graduate of the St. Louis
(Mo.) College of Advanced
Traffic.
