If you want a proper sewerage disposal plant
and electrical distribution system for your com-
munity, please go to the polls, July 21st, and vote
for these three issues. If you vote against any one
of these issues it will prevent the passage of the
bond issue because the water and sewage alone will
not secure the needed amount of money and for this
reason they had to be tied together to strengthen
the value of the bonds.
The previous commissioners secured some land,
2006 feet east of the old sewerage plant. It is my
opinion that this would only remove the odor from
the south side to the north side. This may be pre-
vented. I have proposed that we secure land lOflOO
feet farther east.
The engineers have surveyed and made appli-
cation to the State Department of Public Health
for this extension. This amendment will not affect
the priority status of the project. If the bond issue
carries, we will begin work immediately.
I hope you are interested in making Electra a
better place to live and that you will cast your
vote for the bond issue.
