MOCK CRASH SCENE SETUP. A video film crew was on hand Monday morning, April 30, to
record a “deadly" crash in front of DeLeon High School. The car in front, driven by a “drunk”
driver, T-bones the white car. There were two deaths and one paralysis resulting from the
mock collision. A video production of the crash and aftermath was prepared and shown to stu-
dents in a special assembly on the following day.

TRANSPORTING BY AIR AMBULANCE. Another DWI Mock Crash victim is loaded onto a
helicopter operated by Life Star in Glen Rose for a quick flight to Comanche County Medical
Center, where the innocent victim, played by Micah Neslony, was pronounced “dead.”

HOSPITAL TURN LANE CONSTRUCTION. This photo was taken last Friday on Highway 16
south of DeLeon and in front of Comanche County Medical Center where a new left hand turn
lane is being constructed by contractors working for the Texas Department of Transportation.
