The dedication of the Comanche County Iwo Jima plaque at the
Admiral Nimitz Museum of the Pacific War will be dedicated March 6,
1999 at 1 p.m. in Fredericksburg, Texas.
The Comanche County Iwo Jima plaque lists some 80 names of
Comanche County Anny, Air Force, Marines, Navy and Army personnel
known to have participated in the battle for Iwo Jima 1945.
All interested veterans, friends and relatives are invited to this special
dedication program at the Admiral Nimitz Museum of the Pacific War.
