ed, or nearing completion. It real-
ly looks like we will be able to put

The park will have its official
grand opening on Saturday, June 7.
It should be a great day for all of
those who have been instrumental
in bringing it to our community,
including Mayors John Adcock,
Jim Adams and Danny Owen.
I encourage you to drive out
and look it all over, or better yet,
make plans to be at the grand
opening ceremonies.

During the summer,
Comanche County ag teachers
will conduct two state steer valida-
tions. The first steer validation
will be June 10, 3-7 p.m. at the
Rodney Stephens bam located in
Gustine and the second validation
will be on June 23, 5-7p.m. at the
Burk Vet Clinic in DeLeon.
All show steers must be vali-
dated for the 2009 Comanche
County and major Stock Shows.
