ESA Sorority met for its end
of year hamburger and ice cream
social at the home of Sheri
Morgan on May 13.
Hostesses Amanda Gilmore.
Rae Jean Hasty, Angela Gooden,
Sue West, Kathryn Harper. Sue
Wilkerson, Sheri Morgan and
Betty Terrill served a hamburger
buffet followed by a choice of Dr.
Pepper floats or Paula Deen
caramel-filled brownies with ice
cream and homemade chocolate
fudge topping. The picnic theme
was carried out using red. white
and blue decorations and with cen-
terpieces of yellow and white
daisies. In addition to the host-
esses, members present included
Michelle Mcllvain, Lori Jordan.
Lydia Terrill, Christine Steed. Sue
Wilson, Cindy Beaty, Debbie
Caraway, Pam Rice. Joyce Sides,
Nancy Johnson, Penni Mohundro,
Charlotte Higginbottom, and
Tjwanah Smith.
Dinner was followed with
installation of new officers for the
next two years: Tjwanah Smith,
president; Amanda Gilmore, vice
president; Christine Steed, corre-
sponding secretary; Lori Jordan,
recording secretary. Shirley
Wilkerson, treasurer; and Carolyn
Frasier, educational director.
Tjwanah passed out commit-
tee assignments for the coming
year followed by a brainstorming
session on future plans for the
coming summer and year.
