Boy Knights ot the Round Table”
is the name of an organization
recently created by a number of
b jys in the Palestine public schools.
The members of the new organiza-
tion are between the ages ot^o and
15 years and their object is fivefold
as follows: To promote the Amer-
ican boyhood, to destroy the habit
of smoking and chewing tobacco,
to prevent cruelty to animals, to be
loyal to thfeir country and flag," and
to promote the fine qualities of
cuivalry and honor as practiced by
the original Knights of the Round
Table. This is an organization of
and by boys and solely of their own
notion. — Special to Galveston
News.
The Record would suggest to the
Cu;ro boys ad organization of this
kind. It is an example our boys
can well afford to emulate.
