Donation for Wounded Warriors
Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 870, recently received a call from Round
Top Real Estate to please come by to pick up a huge donation put together by
residents in that area to benefit the Wounded Warrior Family Service Center in
San Antonio. WA Chapter 870 had been holding a drive to collect items for the
center, with the delivery scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 27.
On hand as the donation was presented were (front row, from left) Charlotte
Hillbolt and Grover Hillbolt, owners of Round Top Real Estate; (middle row) Diane
Langley, agent; Erwin Kunz, WA Chapter 870 president; Lila Garlin and Renee
Diehl, agents; (back row) Kathy Kutac, WA Chapter 870 associate; and Daniel
Kutac, WA Chapter 870 treasurer.
The Vietnam Veterans greatly appreciate their kindness in assembling the
donations to take to the center. The Wounded Warriors are grateful for every
item and the donations are always put to good use. The Wounded Warrior Family
Service Center is a 12,500-square-foot facility that offers a safe environment for
military families to reconnect during a soldier’s treatment.
