the second Sunday of every month
in the Family Life Center. Its mis-
sion is that teens will Encounter
the person of Christ and build a
personal relationship with Him.
The goal of each Encounter is to
combine solid Catholic teaching
with authentic Christian witness
in a way that will enliven the Holy
Spirit in young people.
This summer, 10 Encounter
teens attended the “Lone Star”
Steubenville Youth Conference in
Irving, traveling with youth groups
from Hallettsville and Columbus.
The theme for 2017 was “El-
evate” based on Revelation 21:5,
“Behold I make all things new.”
