La Grange Unified Tae Kwon Do members
earn trophies for academic excellence
The “challenge” began September 2016 when Master Debra Filla of the La
Grange Unified Tae Kwon Do proposed a special award to all of her students if
they aimed high scholastically and maintained all A’s during their entire school

Four of those students (from the Giddings, La Grange, Schulenburg/Weimar
areas) achieved this feat and were awarded “mega” scholastic trophies at the
latest grading. Pictured from left to right: Teagan Branch, Black Belt (attends
