I TOWN TALK
and how many wrinkles most of the
classmates had acquired over the
last 30 years.
I’ve gained pounds myself but was
! sure it was put on in the right places,
kept most of my hair, have good
teeth, and wear glasses because
they are changeable, not out of pped.
Does all that sound familiar to most
of you?
After leaving the reunion, Glenda
and I spent the rest of the weekend
relating stories that classmates had
told one but not the other.
Guest teachers attending were Al
Strasner, Melba Shelby, and Charles
Clary, which made the occasion
even more meaningful. If the truth
was known, there were probably
times when our teachers had doubts
as to the possibilities some of us
showed years ago. Hopefully, they
were not disappointed after 30 years.
