April 5, 1985 and authorized
certificate owner the pght to divert
and use not to exceed 45 acre-feet of
water per annum from two exempt
reservoirs created by dams on an
unnamed tributary of the Leon
River, Brazos River Basin at a
maximum combined diversion rate
of 0.89 cfs (400 gpm) to irrigate 60
acres of land out of a 160-acre tract
in the J. P. Stephenson Survey No. 3,
Abstract No. 833, approximately 4
miles north of De Leon, Comanche
County, Texas. Harold Lee Morris
and wife, Darlene Morris acquired
ownership of all water rights
authorized by Certificate No. 12-3503
as evidenced by a deed recorded in
Volume 585, page 92 of the
Comanche County Deed Recotrs.
The time priority of the certificate
is dated February 28,1977.
Certificate No. 12-3503 contains a
special condition that the
authorizations under the certificate
shall expire and become null and
void on December 31, 1990 and
thereafter owners may use the
impoundments for domestic and
livestock purposes/unless prior to
the expiration date, owners apply
for and are granted a renewal in
whole or in part.
Applicants have requested that
Certificate No. 12-3503 be amended
to delete the special condition or to
extend the term included in the
special condition.
Application No. 12-3503A was
received on September 17,1990, and

its first first down. Eric Golden ran
for three yards and George had two
runs of two each, before punting
from the 44. Aaron Saldivar’s kick
went 41 yards to the 15-yard line.
A Pilot Point back had a 37-yard
run to the De Leon 43, but the De
Leon defense stiffened and after
three plays. Pilot Point had a fourth
and 10. Their punt went only seven
yards.
De Leon took over at the 36. After
George gained three, two passes
were incomplete and Saldivar
punted 46 yards to the 20.
Pilot Point was able to chalk up
two first downs to get to their 47. A
penalty, two incomplete passes, and
a two-yard loss on a running play
with George, Stone, Randy Turner,
and Clint Caraway on defense were
followed by a punt on a fourth-and-

Weaver returned the punt 15 yards
to give De Leon possession at the 30.
Clark gained four yards before an
