We saw another week go by
without moisture.
It is just as serious as the past
three years. We are trying to
keep our water going out at the
farm, but some of the fields
may already be a lost cause
We are going to have adjust-
ers look at some of them next
week.
I spent much of the week in
Shallowater with Kim and the
boys. They are a lot of fun, and
the baby is so good. He rarely
cries.
He can be sound asleep with

The 2014 Farm Bill con-
tains significant changes to
the farm safety net that in-
clude new options for pro-
ducers. It will be important
that growers educate them-
selves on all the facts in or-
der to make informed risk
management decisions that
best suit their operation, ac-
cording to Mark Brown Ex-
tension Agent with Texas

Lubbock County.
As an initial look at these
new provisions, the Ag and

up to put together an infor-
mation session to give those

tions about their individual
operations The event is free

lic.
Those wishing to gain in-
formation about the new
regulations and programs in-
volved with the 2014 Farm
