Dallas visited here Thursday in the
home vf his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
H. V. Campbell, and with other rel-

A large crowd was in Lampasas
Friday afternoon to witness the San-
ta Claus parade which was held at
2:30.
The parade was led by the High-
way Patrol car which was followed
by W. W. Standard and E. H.
“Blackie” Johnson on horses bearing
the Texas and United States flags,
and the Lampasas High School band.
The F. F. A. float, bearing their em-
blem, was followed by numerous men,
girls and boys on horseback, and the
1940 Chevrolet and Ford V-8. Then
came Santa Claus on his attractive-

The ’36 Study Club was entertain-
ed in the home of Mrs. Charles Oli-
ver Thursday afternoon with Mrs.
Dale Craft as co-hostess.
Seventeen members answered roll
call with distinctive women of the
Federation. Mrs. Curry Walker and
Mrs. Gordon Cass were welcomed as
new members.
Mrs. Delbert Yaxell was program
chairman for the afternoon. Mrs.
Earnest McLean gave the life history
of Mrs. Percy B. Pennybacker and
Mrs. Clyde Young talked on the val-
ue of Federated Womens Clubs.
A short parliamentarian drill was
given by Mrs. McLean and Mrs. J.
D. Jackson gave a vocabulary tset.
The Christmas party was planned
to be in the home of Mrs. Frank
Allen, December 21,
