Rev. C. Y. Dossey, a popular Bap-
tist evangelist will do the preaching
in the revival meeting conducted by
the Baptist Church June 18 to July 2.
The Rev. Dossey has been a member
of the evangelistic staff of the Bap-
tist General Convention of Texas for
several years. He is a preacher
whom the churches keep busy. His en-
gagements date far ahead. His com-
ing to Lampasas now was made pos-
sible only because another church had
to cancel its engagement with him for
the above date.
There will be two services daily,
at 10:00 in the morning, and at 8:00
in the evening. The morning service
will be he>d in the church auditor-
ium. Arrangements arc being made
to have the night service on the va-
cant lot south of the City Hall. It
is believed the outdoor service at‘
night will be more attractive to the
whole community,.
The one who is to have charge of
the music for the meeting will be
announced later.
