EVANT BAND PLAYS
JOHNSON CITY RODEO
SCHOOL CALENDAR
FOR YEAR 1939-1940
Mrs. A. B. Ronald, director of the
Evant band, played the three-day
rodeo in Johnson City. They had a
camp on the river at the rodeo
grounds and had a delightful trip and
enjoyed theii stay there.
The school has a good T>and and
they have been very, gracious in com-
ing to Lampasas and helping with
the music during rodeos, races and
other such entertainments. This is
appreciated by the Lampasas peo-
ple and the band always has an in-
vitation to visit with us.

The Ruth Sunday School class had
their monthly social in the home of
Mrs. Wesley Brown Wednesday af-
ternoon with 16 members present.
A short business meeting was held
changing the date of their weekly
business meeting to Friday after-
noon in the church.
A few games were played and a
—Reporter.
