tess to the Womens Missionary
Society Monday afternoon with
Rev. Kluge and the following
member* present: Mesdames A.
T. Kluge, L A. Ullrich, W. E.
Kuhn, Henry Boemer, L C.
Fuchs, M. L. Zwernemann and
the hostess. Mrs. Kluge road the
opening scripture followed by
Mrs. Keiters reading the open
lag prayer. Important topics in
the Outlook were discussed af-
ter which the business meeting
followed. A covered dish Christ-
mas supper for members and
their families was planned for
Monday night, Dec. 1, at the
Parish house. Mr*. Kluge also
suggested that all clothes for
the Old clothing drive should be
brought to the parish ‘house by
the end of November. After the
meeting closed with the Lord#
Prayer a delicious lunch
served by the hostess.

san Marie. Mr. Jaeger grew up
in the Winedale Community.

Rev. A. B. Weiss of here serv-
ed as installing officer when
the Rev. W. E. Doerr was in-
stalled as pastor of the CL.
John Lutheran Church at War-
renton on Sunday morning. Rev.
Weiss preached the sermon in
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,
Shelby, which church is part of
the parish, in the afternoon ser-
vice when the Rev. Doerr was
Installed as pastor of that
church. The Rev. H. T. Flach- son, Mrs. Alma Domhoefer, Mr.
meler of La Grange conducted
the installation service.
These congregations honored
their new pastor, Rev. and Mrs.
W. E. Doerr and children, with
a basket dinner at Warrenton, a
lunch in the afternoon at Shel-
by and a shower of many useful
gifts which were mostly items
in the grocery line.
Visitors Here From Arabia
Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Menk-
ing of Saudi Arabia are spend-
• ing a vacation with their par-
ents at Houston and Austin.
They visited here in the homes

lin, Ledell Neutzler, Ernst Paul

Present for the happy occa-

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Meyer of
Fayetteville announce the arri-
val of Particia Lynn, a 7 pound,
one ounce baby daughter bom
in the Fayette Memorial Hospi-
tal on Monday, Nov. 9. This is
the couples second child, both
girls and another grandchild of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eichler of
Carmine as the mother will be
remembered here as the former
Willye Lou Eichler.
