Oscar E. Linstrum, asked those
in attendance to pause while
Rev. J. H. E. Willmann, a for-
mer pastor, led in the prayer of
dedication.
The benediction was pro-
nounced by Rev. L. D. Hardt of
the Industry Methodist Church.
About 300 were present dur-
| ing the afternoon while the Wes-
leyan Service Guild and Wo-
men’s Society of Christian Ser-
vice received the many guests
and served light refreshments
in the dining room.
Monday evening, a sumptuous
turkey dinner was served from
6 to 8 PM by the Guild mem-
bers at the educational building.

The bride was attired in a
royal blue suit with black ac-
cessories and a corsage cen-
tered with a purple orchid.
The grooms mother wore a
gray suit with a white carna-
tion corsage.
Misses Una Mae Coufal and
Clara Jean Legler registered
the guests.
Reception was held at the A-
merican Legion hall near Round
Top where a delicious chicken,
beef and mutton barbecue with
all the trimmings was served at
noon. The brides table covered
in pink held a beautiful two
tierred wedding cake embossed
with white sugared decorations
and pink rosebuds and topped
with a miniature bride
groom.
The couple will make
home at Hockley where
groom is employed.

Mrs. J. C. Guenther’s
Scout troop met Tuesday after-
noon at the scout house, when
their mothers were honored at
a tea.
Scouts attending were Nancy

Hagler, Barbara von Minden,
Judy Rosenberg, Jane Hermes,
but absent was Lou Ann Bird-
well. Mothers attending the hos-

Rosenberg and Gilbert Hermes.
The Scouts were awarded
their badges for outstanding
