One nation, he said, time and
again has blocked United Na-
tions action by veto. One na-
tion, he said, has obstructed
the attempt of western Euro-
pean nations to co-operate.
“That is not all," he said.
“Thn» nation has steadily ex-
panded its control over its
neighbors. It is a tragic record.
Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Po-
land, Rumania, Bulgaria, Yu-
goslavia, Albania, Hungary.

brought under the domination
of that one nation.
“Nor is this the whole story.
For that nation is now pressing
its demands on Finland. Its
foreign agents are fighting in
Greece and working hard to

men’s Missionary Society at
the parish house Tuesday. As i

present at the beginning, Mrs.
L. C. Fuchs read the opening
scripture and prayer. Mrs. A.
,E. Kcilcrs read the topic, “Be-
ginning in Jerusalem” from
the Outlook. Mrs. Albert Muel-
ler read the topic, "The Great-
est Treasure” and Mrs. L. C.
Fuchs read “Literacy in South
America.”
During the business meeting
it was decided to brtnfc articles
to the next meeting for a New
Guinea Christmas box. Dele-
gates for the Federation meet-
ing to be held at Sandy Hill on
May 12 were named.
After the meeting, Mrs. Jas-
ter served a delicious lunch.
Mrs. L C. Fuchs will enter-
tain the society in April at the
parish house with the meeting
starting at 3 p. m.
