In Wednesday’s Little League
games the Giants beat the Yankees
14-13. Lee Heselmeyer hit two
home runs for the Giants.
The Eagles beat the Bears

James Bremer knocked a homer
for the Pirates.
The Indians defeated Carmine-
Round Top by 5-2 in the other

League the Cardinals beat the
Yankees, 12-3 and the Indians
took the Pirates, 12-5.

Bobby Glaiser hurled a ho-
hit game and fanned 13 as the
La Grange No. 2 Babe Ruth team
won over Weimar, 9-1, for their
fourth Tri-County League victory
Thursday night.
The La Grange No. 1 Babe
Ruths, however, lost by a score
last Monday night against of 4-2 to Flatonia Friday, the game
lasting an extra inning. Tied 1-1
at the end of the seventh, Flatonia
pushed over three in the eighth.
The locals loaded the bases in
their half, but managed to score
only once.
