Valentine Day Observed
The primary room of
public school enjoyed a party
Monday, February 16. They
gave a valentine play and play-
ed games. Mrs. Dorns and the
“little folks” had refreshments
after the program. A number

The Cistern “Cowboys” bas-
ketball team was defeated by
the Flatonia “Bulldogs” Friday
afternoon here, 40 to 5.
The Flatonia girls’ volley
ball team played the Cistern
girls. Flatonia won the first
and third game, 15-2 and 12-12,
and the Cistern gills won the
second, 15-12.
