It the issue is approved by voters, the first step
will be to execute the cooperative agieement between
the city and the Housing Authority of Carthag*.
Cadenhead stressed that after the cooperative
agreement, all action* will be taken by the housing au-
thority ranging from the selection of a site for the
project to supervision while under construction and
after completion.
Some people are of the opinion that the fedforel
agency will select the site of the project, Cadenhend
said. “This I* not true", he stressed. "The site of th*
project will be selected by the local housing autlMiri-
The mayor pointed out again that no local money
would be used In the project whatsoever. About the
only obligation the city will have, the mayor s*M, to
furnishing fire and police protection, a thing which to
done for other parts of the city.
