The final mission study of
the First United Methodist
Church will be presented by
Jane Ann Cassidy Tuesday,
October 28 at 10 a.m. in the
Fellowship Hall of the church.
Guest speakers will be Mrs.
Helen Deel, Conference Chris-
tian Personhood officer and
Mrs. Ann Shener, a member of
Richland Hills UMC. The two
women will bring the Viet
Namese refugee family that the
church has sponsored.
A covered dish salad lunch-
eon will follow the program.
All interested ladies are in-
vited to attend and learn more
about the refugee program.

Burleson Lutherans Set First Services
The first service has been set

for Sunday, November 2 at 3
p.m. at Frazier School Cafe- present
;eria for the purpose of being
recognized as a Lutheran Mis-
sion.
Frank Norwood, mayor, will
extend greetings from the
City and Reverend Ed Schmel-
tekopth, president of the Bur-
leson Ministerial Association
will extend greetings from area
churches.
Reverend Harold Hein, dis-
trict k president of Lutheran.
Churches and pastor at Christ
Lutheran of Fort Worth, will
bestow greetings on the group
as a mission.
Coffee will be served after
the service.
Beginning Sunday, Novem-
ber 9, worship will be held at
8:30 a.m. and Sunday School
at 8:30 a.m. in the Frazier
School cafeteria.
More organizational plans
were formulated at a planning
session of area Lutherans
Thursday evening, October 16
at Frazier School.
