A. E. Frazier carnival held
October 6, was a big success
grossing well over 1800.00.
The First United Methodist
Church of Crowley will present
its Fourteenth Annual Lord’s
Acre Harvest. Festival, October
13, at 509 W.. Peach In Crow-
ley, Texas.
The Country Store opens at
10 a.m. Barbecue dinner will
be at 11.30 a. mJ. and the Auc-
tion is scheduled to begin at
12:30 p.m. „
All merchandise that will be
sold is either new or homemade.
The items to be sold include
pickle barrel end table, record
cabinet, electric blanket, glass
terrariums, portable butane
barbecue grill, bacon fryer,
cutlery set, Sport jacket, Levi
hand .decorated shirt, quilts,
cakes, candy and cookies, bread

Fourteenth Annual
Lord.’* Harvest Fest
Fort Worth Hospital Held At Crowley
Funeral services for Mrs.
Annie L. Montgomery, 73, who
passed away in a Ft. Worth
Hospital, were held Sunday at
1:80 p.m. in the Crosjer-Pier-
son Funeral Chapel in Cle-
burne. Interment was made in
the Caddo Cemetery near Jos-
hua.
Mrs. Montgomery had been
a resident of the Joshua com-
munity most of her life, but
for the past few years had re-
sided at the Burleson Nursing
Home.
Survivors are her husband,
two daughters, Mrs. Sophia
Pritchett, Ft Worth, and Mrs,
Bonnie Smith, Cleburne, one
brother Jerry Meadows of God-
ley one sister, Mrs. Nora Pat-
tersbn of Oklahoma, twelve
grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
