Scott Grocery to make cancer
bandages. They are inviting
anyone in the community who
might wish to help to attend
I these meetings. Bring a cov-
ered dish for lunch.
The group are furnishing
bandages for several local peo-
ple and all surplus bandages go
to the Johnson County Division
of the American Cancer Society.

$2.40 To Santa’s Help
Fifteens little Cuties wearing Blue Bird Caps and
with stars in their eyes, were visitors to the Dis-
patcher office Monday evening with their gift to Santa’s
Helpers of $2.40, representing two weeks dues. These
little second graders, were introduced as the Singing
Blue Bird Group. They were; Marsha Titus, Patsy
Ash, Karen Struck, Sharon Fears, Carol Watters, Bev-
erly Owens, Marsha Lee Fannon, Karen Rippin, Vir-
ginia Davidson, Debra Chapman. Kay Carter, Betsy

Yvonne Yates became the
bride of Gary Queen in a double
ring ceremony last Saturday
night at 7:30 p. m., at the Bur-
leson Church of Christ.
Standridge, pastor of
church, officiated.
The bride given in marriage
by her father wore a gown of
chantilly lace and nylon tulle.
The molded bodice featured a
peter pan color, and pedal point
long sleeves of chantilly lace
over satin. The boufant skirt
of tulle had panels of Chantilly
lace. She wore a seed pearl
tiera with a finger tip veil. She
