Rural Roads Improve.
Low cost paved highways for
rural districts are becoming, in-
creasingly common, as the new
agricultural era develops. Pro-
duction -of road oils and asphalt
has increased over a period of a
few years.
To the modern farmer, good
roads are as , important as they
are to his city neighbor. Ec -
. nomical surfaces with low main-
tenance cost and excellent wear-
ing and driving qualities, have
proven a boon to rural America.

Is none that can do more for the
schools of a community than the
Parent Teachers' Association.
This is true in any town or city
of the country. The Parent
Teachers' Association, has in the

workers. The women feel, and
rightfully so, that the men are

Freezing improves the flavor of
paivsnips and it is considered de-
sirable to leave the roots in the
ground whore they grew until
they become frozen. The roots,
however, if allowed to remain un-
til they start growth the follow-
ing spring soon lose in «iuality
and flavor. Tie period for use
can often be extended by digging
the roots as soon as the frost Is
out of the ground in the spring
and storing them in a cool ploce.

^INCE January 1st, over a million one hundred and
^ thirty-five thousand six-cylinder Chevrolets have
been produced. Naturally, this is an outstanding
industrial achievement. But it is more than that. 11
is a great public endorsement of Chevrolet's policy of
progress: to build a quality automobile whose design
incorporates every possible feature of progressive
engineering... whose beauty is distinctive, smart and
satisfying ... whose reliability is assured by fine
materials and precision manufacture . . . and whose
price is so low as to be within reach of the great
majority of the people. We want you to know what
this policy hasmeant in the development of the Chev-
rolet Six the modern car of universal appeal. We
want you to know that Chevrolet has brought within
the reach ofeverybody, everywhere, all the advantages
of smooth, six-cylinder performance. Come in today!
