Having described my invention, what I
claim as new and desire to secure by Letters
Patent is:-
1. In an expansion plug, a casing com-1

base, an expanding member comprising sec-
tions slidably mounted between the conical
members, and screw operated means forI

prising sections, means for securing the sec-
tions together, plates between the sections
and arranged to slide radially, and means
for sliding the plates.

nut traveling on the rod, plates in the cas-
ing, and means connecting the plates to the
nut.

threaded rod turning in the easing, a nut

and sliding transversely thereof, and links
connecting the plates to the traveling nut.
