I claim as new and desire to secure by Let-
ters Patent is:
In a draft equalizer, the combination of a
draft tongue, a frame including a pair of
6 superposed plates extended transversely of
the tongue and secured thereto in spaced re-
lation, the ends of the plates being bent
downward at an angle to the vertical, a pair
of levers, one on each side of the tongue piv-
mo otally mounted between the outer ends of the
plates at points intermediate the ends of the
levers, a pulley mounted on the tongue, a
flexible -element passed around the pulley
and having its ends connected to the inner
ends of the levers, and whiffletrees connected
to the outer ends of the levers.
