Mrs. Zim Rogers, sister of
Mrs. Jay Jackson, succumbed
shortly after being carried to
the Comanche hospital late
Tuesday afternoon, January 20.
Services for Mrs. Rogers were
held in Comanche Wednesday,
January 21, at l|00 p.m., with
burial also in Comanche.
Services for Mr. Melton were
conducted Sunday, January 11,
at 2:30 p.m. in the Baptist
Church, Littlefield. Burial was
in the Littlefield Cemetery with ste vensTodelfBettany andTonk
’ Halsey.
Mr. Dittrich was born on
August 8, 1889, in Bosque Co-
unty and had lived in De Leon
since 1951, until he became

mother, Mrs. J.A. Vinson, who
is a patient in the hospital.

Dawn George Infant daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Roger George
of Route 1, Gorman, were held
at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan-
uary 7, in the De Leon feme-
tery with Payne Hattox. Church
of Christ minister of De Leon,
officiating. Melissa Dawn was
still born at 6:00 p.m. Tues-
day, January 6, in the De Leon
Municipal Hospital.
Sirvivors include her parents;
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Othell Clark of Gorman and Mr.
and Mrs. Dale George of De
Leon; and great grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Huddleston
and Mrs. May Bunting of De

Municipal Hospital, Saturday,
January 18, at 8rf5 a.m.
Miss Scott was born May 9,
1882, at Downing to Frances
Capehart Scott and Henry Scott.
She was a resident of the De
Leon Nursing Home. She had
lived in Comanche County all
of her life and was a mem-
ber of the church of Christ.
Services were held Monday,
Jan. 19, at 2:00 p.m. Monday
in the Church of Christ with
Minister Payne Hattox officiat-
ing. Music was by the church
choir, pallbearers were Jake
Sedge, Franklin Loudermilk

29, 1888, in Tex, to Ellen and
Lee Melton. On May 18, 1915,
he was married to Miss Nel-
lie Dunn. Three sons and one
daughter were born to this
union. He was engaged iniarm-
ing most of his life and bad
retired and lived in De Leon
the past seven years. He was
preceded in death by one son,
Bruce, of Littlefield.
Survivors are his wife
