Funeral services for Adrin
Charles Hardin were held Fri-
day, July 19 at 2:30 p.m. in
the Northside Baptist Church
with Rev. Dewey Lamb offi-
ciating. Music was rendered
by Mrs. Oleta Stewart. Mrs.
Pearl Spruill, Al Strasncr
and C. L. Mohon, Jr., accom-
panied by Mrs. Eula McCul-
lough at the piano. Pallbear-
ers were Frank Sccklnger,
Bob Wofford, Henry Copp,
W. T. Elder, Fred Greene and
Ronnie Allen.
He was bom March 6, 1916
in Comanche and was 52
years and four months of age
He had lived In Comanche
County for the past 3% years.
He is survived by his mo-
ther, Mrs. Delona Key of De
Leon; one daughter, Mrs.
Lynda Joyce Cheat of Las Ve-
gas, Nev.; one eon, Charles
Boyce Harden of Monahans;
three granohildren; and many
other relatives and friends.
Interment was in the De
Leon Cemetery with Nabors
Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.

Rex Friday were held Tues-
day, July 23 at 11:00 am. in
the Desdemona Methodist
Church with Rev. Derrell
Dossey officiating. Music was
rendered by a choir accom-
panied by Mrs. H. E. Parks at
the piano.
Pallbearers were Howard
Wade, Malcolm OffField, Bud-
dy Stacy, James Ryan, Don-
ald Holder, Jack Boyd, Jay
Grimshaw and R. L. Sharp.
He was bom July 19, 1936,
in Desdemona, and passed
away in Caldwell on July 21
at the age of 32 years and
two days.
He was preceded in death
by his mother, Mary Alice
Friday. Survivors include his
father, Tom Friday of Desde-
mona; one sister,

W. B. (Willa) Higginbottom.
86, were held at 3:30 p.m..
July 18. in the First Method-
ist Church in Gorman with
Rev. R. E. Bowden of Lub-
bock officiating. Mrs. Higgin-
bottom died in the Gorman
Blackwell Hospital after a
month's illness.
Burial was held in De Leon
Cemetery under direction of
Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Higginbottom was
bom December 7, 1882 In
Jonesboro, Ark., and had been
a resident of Texas 75 years.
Her husfband preceded her in
death three years ago. She
was a member of the Church
of God.
Survivors include two sons,
E. N. and L. R. Higginbot-
tom, both of Gorman; two
daughters, Mrs. Flora Single-
ton of Desdemona and Mrs.
Lola Glover of De Leon;
three brothers, Alvin C. and
Allen P. Wright, both of Abi-
'lene, and Hermon Wright of
Downey, Calif; one sister,
Bertha Graham of Canyon
City, Colo., six grandchildren;
four great grandchildren; a
step-mother, Mrs. Maitha Ste-
venson of Abilene; and one
half-sister, Mrs. Frances Ste-
phens of Abilene.
Pallbearers were Homer
Wood, Travis Bunting, Pete
Mauney, Lonnie Hampton,
Dean Kirk and J. L. Morrow.

cuted Wednesday while work-
ing on his car. Eddie had vis-
