the high school faculty at Tay-

Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Hector
spent from Tuesday until Fri-
day of last week in Hillsoboro
with their daughter and son-in-
law, Rev. and Mrs. R. E. Cook.
The Cooks resided in Corsicana
for the past two years where
he was pastor of the Central
Methodist Church. Mr. Cook
was recently appointed to the
Line Street Baptist Church in
Hillsboro.
Unit That JFon ffigA Honors
A3C Harold W.Meadows, 357
N.W. Lorna, Burleson, Texas is
a member of the 622D USAF
Reserve Hospital, shared high
national honors with over two
hundred North Texas Air Re-
servists in the unit when the
medical unit was named “Out-
standing Non-Flying Air Re-
serve Unit" for the entire na-
tion last week.
The 622D Hospital, activated
at Fort Worth in 1957 is the
first medical unit to win such
distinction, according to Colo-
nel Patrick H. Hoey, Surgeon
for Continental Air Command.
Colonel Martin E. Grobman,
Waco, Texas physician, is Com-
mander of the Hospital.
A3C Meadows trains one
weekend monthly with the 500-
bed medical unit at Carswell
Air Force Base, Ft. Worth.
