ITEM: Trouble getting started
in the morning? It may be due to
the lack of a proper breakfast.
Surveys show that where an em-
ployee had a proper breakfast,
the mid-morning coffee break re-
sulted in no change in work out-
put. Adding a coffee break in
cases where no breakfast was
eaten showed a gain in work
capacity, but did not, of course,
make up for the earlier work
loss.

Train a child up in the way he should go.and when he is old he
will not depart from it.
—Proverbs XXII, 6
One of the great experiences of life is parenthood. Plans and anti-
cipation precede the first-born. Much is planned—education—vocation
—with everything pictured in the eye of the parcnts-to-bc. Excitement
and joy prevails when the child arrives, in health, to a healthy mother.
All too soon the infant pictured in the nursery is an active, curious
child, an inquisitive adolescent. It is during these formative years that
training is required. Train the child in the way he should go, and he
will go well into the world.
