Blue and Gold
Banquet Slated
By Cub Pack 527
Each year in Febru-
ary the birthday of the
Boy Scouts of America
is celebrated. This year
the movement is 57 years
old.
It is traditional for Cub
Scout packs to have a
birthday party called the
Blue and Gold Banquet
to commemorate this
event. Mom, dad, sis and
brother join the Cub
Scouts at this fun-filled
banquet. The theme this
year is Scouting Rounds
a Guy Out.
Cub Scout Pack 527,
just one year old, has
planned to have its Blue
and Gold banquet Satur-
day, February 25 at 6:30
p.m. at the high school
cafeteria. The meal will
be catered. The cost is
$1.35 per person.
Entertainment will be
provided, and recognition
and awards will be pre-
sented.
