TOPS Purpose
The Burleson TOPS
chapter held its meeting
Monday, February 6, at
10:00 a.m. at the Burle-
s on Bowl Conf e re nee
Room.
Esther Tucker, leader,
explained that the purpose
of TOPS is primarily to
help all who are over-
weight who are sincerely
interested in losing po-
unds sensibly. It is based
on the principle of group
therapy, getting together
those who have a common
problem and discussing
it frankly without fear of
being laughed at, or mis-
understood.
Burleson TOPS was or-
ganized November 7,
1966. Newly elected of-
ficers of the chapter are:
Esther Tucker, leader;
Jo Ann Linch, co-leader;
Charlotte Machen, secre-
tary; Marion Howell, tre-
asurer, and Alisha
Crews, weight recorder
and hostess.
Call Charlotte Machen,
CR 2-6718, for informa-
tion.

of the underpass and flipped end over.
