POOR PHILOSOPHY
Most people favor anything
which promises to return
something for nothing or
much for little.

A piece of peg board
mounted on a wooden fra-
me is excellent for keep-
ing your threads and ot-
her sewing gadgets, sin-
ce there are so many dif-
ferent kinds of hooks and
holders to use on peg-
board. You not only ha-
ve your accessories han-
dy; you will not lose them
either. The board would
be best if placed about
six inches above the ma-
chine top.
The peg-board can be
decorated various ways,
I think that a ruffle about
six inches wide, cut on
the bias, and gathered
full all around the peg-
board is the cutest way
to decorate it; but if it
is cut the size of your
windows you can drape it
as a window, using rods
that will open out rather
than the usual rods.
More color can be add-
ed to the area by using
a brightly colored has-
sock, which has storage
space in it for your fa-
brics and patterns.
Pole lamps are superb
to light the area, since
they do not take up much
space.
Sorry, girls, I can’t
draw you a picture of this,
but maybe I have given
you a little hint and you
can convert that little
space into a more cozy
spot.

peace, when huge military forces are i

armed services veterans of past conflicts, even as
we are today . . . Funeral arrangements are never
pleasant, but to know that financial assistance is
available, can help ease the burden . . . Funeral
