Friday afternoon. Friday night,
Maggie joined Diane Lewis on

Promenade Theater production
of The Wizard of Oz. For
Maggie, it was the latest in a long
list of rolls she has seen Sarah
perform since Sarah was six
years old. Maggie commented Jennifer and children Brandon
on the excellence of Sarah's
performance as well as her
outstanding Christian witness.
On Saturday, Earl and Maggie
joined the ASAP group and the
Lewis family for a surprise
birthday party for Diane Lewis.
On Sunday, Earl, Maggie, and
Bob and Diane Lew is attended Cooper; Bill and Louise Phillips
the Klondike/West Delta School
Reunion held at the Delta
County Community Center.
Maggie said there was a big Glovon Collard of Horton,
turnout and everyone seemed to
have a good time.
Nelma Dodd has been kept
busy with various school
projects, a regional FCCLA
meeting, and the school Fall
Carnival.
Visitors to the Stone home this
week included Glen Stone. Larry
and Sharon Jordan. Weldon
Jordan and his friends Kailya and
her son Jayden. On Saturday
Allie and Sharon went to Maud.

Bob Lewis surprised his wife
Diane with a birthday party on
Saturday. This will be more
trip to Richardson to see Sarah impressive when you know that
Bob is a truck driver and made
all the plans while he was on the
road all week! Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Lewis. Sr attended. Bob. Sr. did
the grilling for the party. Also in
attendance were Shawn and
a
of candy for all children. Hope
to see you there.
Jimmy and Patricia Blundell
hosted their annual washpot
stew event on Saturday. October
25. Once again the stew was
superb and choosing just one
dessert from the table was
almost impossible. Following the
meal, there was a Chinese
auction gift exchange and a
couple of games of Bingo, members and friends went deer
hunting near Mason, TX. They
left on Thursday and returned
home on Saturday. Some got a
deer, and some didn't, but
everyone had a good time.
Stella Martin’s sister Rosie
Cash was visiting her for a few
days as was nephew Willie
Collins. Brother-in-law Johnny
Arrington was a guest for
Sunday supper. (Glad he is back
at home). Bertha Jones and
Dwight Martin were also Sunday
visitors. Dionna spent the
weekend with her great-

After a brief busines*
meeting, Barbara Elms, this
month's leader, opened the stud}
session with a devotional from
her book entitled "Windows ol
Hope." She received this book
in 1993 from the Club. She
chose to speak on "Grace." This
month's study was on “Paul at
Prayer" and “From Rags to
Riches." The meeting was
adjourned w ith members reciting
the club benediction. Delicious
refreshments were served b}

home after spending the
weekend in San Antonio with
daughter, Karin West, Pat, Eric,
and Kevin Jerry Fisher took her
to DFW where she flew.
Johnny and Amy Fisher of
Paris are doing a lot of work on
the late Mr. and Mrs Arthur
Echols homeplace. They are
fixing it up to rent out. fhey
have made several
improvements on the place

accepted). Following that will be Hunter and Kyle spent the night

evening will be rounded out with Caleb, and Hunter spent
hayride and handing out bags Saturday night with them. Also
on Saturday, Gary went with a
group to Detroit to play gospel
music. The event was held in
an open-air shelter, and with the
cold front that came through,
Cindy said he nearly froze!!
Pearl Foster had a garage sale
on Saturday. I think she was
taking advantage of George’s
