this year, Midnight Mass was cele-
brated in St. Joseph’H Church with
| the greatest pomp and solemnity.

John J. Hoffman, a Knight of Co-
lumbus, presided at ths organ. The
impressiveness of the services was
greatly augmented by a violin solo
during t.lie Offertory played by Mr.
Bernard Cartwright, also a knight.
The true Christmas spirit presented
itself most vividly at Communion. '
