APPROVED 5% salary in-
crease for all full time em-
ployees effective April 1st,
excluding those on contract, re-
tainer and part-time.
PASSED and approved final
reading of Ordinancea B-141,
B-142 and B-143, zoning ordi-
nance amendments, changing
the zoning on certain areaa as
requested by the owners. *
APPROVED Resolution No.
. 100, opposing State Penal Code
revisions now before Legisla-
ture.
INSTRUCTED the City At-
torney to prepare an ordinance
on public dancing establish-
ments for adults and teenagers
and an anti-noise ordinance.
REVIEWED monthly reports
for February.

continues to grow. Our schools
must strive to be in step with
this growth in every way. Your
vote for the membbrs of our
School Board is very important
to you and your cMdren.
My wife is Joyce,\and our
children are Donna, at
Grady, age 17. We h
here for 9 years, and
proud of this community.
My credentials are as follows:
B.S. Degree in Art and Edu-
cation from Oklahoma Baptist
University, Shawnee, Oklahoma.,
My most active involvement
with education has been at the
local church level. For 20 years
I have served in almost any
capacity open to a layman.
While I. was in the Air Force,
my wife and I helped start mis-
sion work in Wyoming. Here
in the First Baptist Church,
Burleson, I have served as Gen
eral Sunday Schoo] Superinten-
dent, Youth Teacher, Chairman
of the Deacons, and Royal Am-
bassador- Leader. It has been
a privilege to live in Burleson,
but even greater is the privi-
lege of service. If elected to
the School Board, I would con-
sider this another area of ser-
vice.
