Mr. R. G. K. Deering, Editor
Burleson Dispatcher
Burleson, Texas 76028
Dear Sir:
I read with interest Ordinance
No. B-65 concerning garbage
collection.
When we first moved to Bur-
leson, I requested that the gar-
bage collectors replace the lids
on the cans after they were
emptied. I was told that would
take too much time and that
they would not replace the lids.
As a result of this, the lids were
thrown down to be blown away
or run over by passing cars
which has left me without lids.
I have no intention of buy-
ing new cans just to get new
lids which would be treated the
same way. If the city doesn’t
have time to replace the lids, I
haven’t the money to buy new
cans twice a week so that I’ll
have lids to cover them.
Very truly yours
Charles E. Marsh
