ton and 014 Glory last Friday after-
noon «M enjoyed by everyone. Ow-
ing to the Wf"* storm and unsettled
weather, some of the contests were j
postponed. Monday afternoon at Sa-;
Ksrton these events were completed.
The children enjoyed this affair very
much. The two schools were very well
matched and not very many points
difference. We won a few more points
in athletie events.
Quite a number of our community
attended the recital at Sagerton Fri-
day night, given by the pupils of Miss
Booth and assisted by musical num-
bers by Oils Macon, cornetist, and
Heath of Stamford, pianest.
relatives in Stamford Sunday.
"Chick" Lewis is driving a new car.
Mr j. F. P. Davis has been sick for
quite a while, but we are glad to re-
port that she is improving now.
Bill Baumback who has been in the
hospital aft Stamford for some time
with an infected hand will soon be at
home again. He is gradually improv-
ing we are glad to say.

from an operation for appendicitis.

God has certainly blessed this coun-
try with rain. Quite a few showers
fell Friday and a real heavy one fell

to see the weeds begin to grow now.
