Brownie Fun
Day Slated
The Annual Brownie Fun
Day for the girls selling 50 or
more boxes of cookies during
the sale of the Red River
Valley Girl Scout Council will
be held on Saturday, April 28,
at Camp Gambill.
The girls are to arrive at
9:30 a.m. and closing cere-
mony will be at 2:30 p.m.
Each girl should bring a
drinking cup with a handle, a
sit-upon and 15c for an extra
cold drink. Adults who plan to
bring the girls and serve on
the staff may want to bring a
folding lawn chair.
The noon meal will be
served in Gander Hall with
Mrs. W. Allen in charge of the
dining room kapers.
Mrs. Billy Weddle of Paris
was the Council Cookie
Director and will be in charge
of the event. Serving with her
will be Mrs. Frank Ray, Mrs.
Mike Folmar and Mrs.
Sandra Tribbey as unit
leaders. Mrs. Claude Jones
and Miss Janis Hazen will be
program consultants.
Directions to Camp Gambill
- Take FM 79 Weat off Loop
286 toward Sumner, Texas.
Turn left onto FM 2820 at
Camp Gambill sign. Camp is
about one mile on the right.
