much more satisfactory nature

properties for this year. Mr.
Bolton states that hundreds of '
assessments are being placed on
the rolls at the present time that
did not appear t.iere last year and
that all possible diligence is being
pursued to see that all property
upon which taxes should be levi-
ed is assessed. He says further
that the people seem more fav-
orably disposed now toward vol-
untary assessments than has
been manifested within recent
years. .
