From the bottom of my
heart, I want to thank all of
you who supported in
the First Primary. Your in-
terest In good government
and your enthusiasm in this
fight for Texas Is an Inspir-
ation to me. Together, we
will continue to discuss the
issues and carry on the
clean, hard campaign which
will result in a decisive vic-
tory for Texas in the Second
Democratic Primary on Aug-
ust 28.
Fine summer listening will be
provided by top American stars
as guests on NBC’s Telephone
Hour Monday nights. These con-
certs, broadcast from New York's
famed Carnegie Hall, will bring
music to please everyone — in-
strumental and vocal. Beginning
with the last Monday in July, the
American stars will entertain in
the following order, through the
month of August: Leon Fleisher,
pianist; Lucile Cummings, con-
tralto; Brian Sullivan, tenor;
Eileen Farrell, dramatic soprano;
Michael Rabin, violinist, and Bar-
bara Gibson, coloratura soprano.
They will solo with Donald Voor-
hees and the 57-piece Bell Tele-
phone orchestra. (ANS)
What’s it going to cost to keep that new car in gasoline? In
oil? What about service and repairs? Check into it and you’ll
find that Chevrolet has the greatest name of all for keeping
upkeep costs down over all the miles you drive.
You, of course, are the only one who can decide which car
looks the best to you. But you might well consider this: Chev-
rolet's the only one in the low-price field with the smooth
lines and graceful beauty of Body by Fisher.
