1 cup broth
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheese
1 cup chopped onion
1 can cenchilada sauce
1 large package of Doritos
Mix all the ingreients ex-
cgpt the cheese and place in
a casserole dish. Cover and
bake for 30 minutes at
about 350*. Remove from
the oven and sprinkle the
cheese over the top of the
chicken mixture and return
to the oven for three or four
minutes to melt the cheese.

11-12; Teen Miss, 13-15; Junior
Miss, 10-17; Senior Miss, 18 and

Trophies, banners and
flowers will be given to the win-
ners in each age division. First
and second runner-ups in each
age division will receive
trophies.
There will be an entry fee.

TOPS 497 met at the IOOF Hall on West Main for their
regular meeting at 9 a.m. on May 12 with 24 members pre-
sent.
Best loser of the week was Delores Roberts and runner
up was Lillie Courson. Mary Hamil and Irene Jones were the
KOPS closest to their goals.
Nine members of the club attended the TOPS State Re
cognition Days in Fort Worth on April 29-30.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 19 at 9 a m. at the
IOOF Hall on West Main.

Texas TOPS 811 met for their regular meeting on Tues-
day, May 10 at 7 p m on First Street at the Ingleside Housing
Authority Community Room.
Best loser was Jennifer Marton and KOPS closest to her

A surprise party was held honoring members who work-
ed very hard raising money for the convention but were not
able to attend.
“Look Who's in the Kit-
chen" for this week is fea-
turing Mrs. Julia Salinas and
her recipe for Mexican
Chicken which she said she
got from her daughters
mother-in-law, Merle Mon-
crief.
Mrs. Salinas and her hus-
band, Ray, are both Ingle-
side natives. She works part
time at the IHS cafeteria and
he is employed at Reynolds.
-They have five children
with two still at home and
the other three living in An-
gleton, Texas, Galveston,
Texas and Ingleside. Mr.
and Mrs. Salinas have seven
grandchildren.
Mrs. Salinas said that her
family really enjoys Mex-
ican Chicken and she likes it
because it is a complete
meal in itself. She said
sometimes she serves it

Camp registration
announced
The Camp Fire Council of
Corpus Christi Area, Inc. is now
accepting registration for Day
and Resident Camp programs.
Camp is open to boys and girls
ages 5-17. Day Camp is schedul-
ed for July 11-15 at West Guth
Park. Registration fee is $15,
which includes bus transporta-
tion to and from West Guth
Park.
Resident Camp is held at
Camp Shawondasse in Mathis,
Tx., and offers four different
trails this summer. Each trail is
designed for specific grade
levels. Resident Camp fee
varies according to desired trail
and membership status.

VFW Post 6386 held a gradua-
tion party Sunday for Pete
Campbell, IHS senior, with
some 200 in attendance
raffled off at a later date.
Dan Garey from Hwy 35 Nur-
sery allowed the auxiliary to
purchase the plants at a very
low price. The winners of the
raffle drawings were Ramona

and mauve cotten eyelet floor
length dress and carried a
mauve basket of pink, mauve
and white wilk flowers.
The groom was served by
Michael Bonich of Houston as
best man Groomsmen were
Russell Chapman and Keith
Homer. Ushers were Aubrey
McCaughan, brother of the
bride and Keith Horak, brother
of the groom Ring bearer was
Adam Herr a da, nephew of the
groom.
The brides mother wore a
blue silk dress with cranberry
colored flowers and a matching
corsage. The grooms mother
wore a silk print blue dress with
red and white flowers and a
matching corsage.
A reception followed in the
fellowship hall of the church.
The brides table was covered in
a white lace table cloth and
featured a three tiered wedding
cake with rose colored roses.
After a wedding trip to Nor-
folk, Virginia, the couple plans
to make their home in Ber-
muda. The bride is a graduate
of IHS and attended Del Mar
College. The groom is a
graduate of Ray High School in
Corpus Christi and also attend-
ed Dei Mar College.

Florida; Michael Bonich, Mr.
and Mrs. Keith Homer, and
Mr and Mrs. Keith Horak of
Houston; Mrs. Jo Capehart of

wedding vows at Our Lady of
the Assumption Catholic
Church in a double ring
ceremony on Saturday, May 7
at 5 p.m. with Rev. Charles
Doherty officiating.
Mrs. Melvin Michaels was the
organist for the ceremony. The
church was decorated in mauve
and cranberry silk flowers.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a poly-
organza wedding gown with a
mid-victorian neckline and
bishop sleeves enhanced with
imported shifflie lace and seed
pearls. The train was of chapel
length and encircled with a
venise and shiffle lace. She
wore a halo of white roses in her
hair that held a veil of illusion
lace.
The bride was attended by
Dorothy Wilson, sister of the
groom, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Laury Ivy
and Cathy Jackson sister of the
bride. The flower girl was
Destiny Ivy, niece of the bride.
The attendants were dresses of
mauve floor length polyorgan-
