State Bank in Alto for the Bill Roberts Family.
Roberts, age 36. was killed Thursday night in a
car accident near Splendora. He and his family had
resided in Alto for the past year. He was a self-
employed sheetrock worker.
Grateside rites were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in
Splendora under the direction of Metcalf Funeral
Home in Conroe.
Survivors include his widow. Mrs. Anna Roberts,
of Alto; three sons. Billy Joe. Roger and Kevin, all
of Alto and a daughter. Renne of Houston.
Persons wishing to aid the family with funeral
expenses may make their donations to the Bill
Roberts Fund at the Continental State Bank in Alto.

to Dr. DuBose was donated

area from 1917 until the
1950’s.
