ENTRANCE RQUIRENENTS:
EDUCATION:
The prospective student must have completed at least the seventh grade.
UNIFORMS :
Women must wear a washable white uniform and white shes,; men must
wear a washablw white jacket and any color slacks and any color shoes.
BOOKS AND SUPPLIES:
The student is required to buy a textbook ($5.50) and a hair styling
book ($6.00) They must also purchase the tools required to learn
this work, such as combs, klippies, scissors, razor, brushes, etc.
These can be purchased from the school at wholesake prices and can
be purchased in full at the time of enrollment or as the student
progresses in his training and needs certain other tools. The tools
are the personal property of the student and upon graduation he takes
them with him into the salon.
BLOOD TEST AND REGISTRATION:
The students obtain a registration form from the school which in turn
is takn to a physician for a blood test and the physician's signature.
This is filed wit the Texas Board of Cosmetology at the time of
enrollment.
JOB SELECTION SERVICE:
This school os pleased to advise we teach the LEE SELF STYLING METHOD which is
internationally recognized as the finest styling method available. The LEE SELF
STYLING NETHOD is taught in vocational classes during the summer months at such
leading universities as the Universities of Oklahoma, Colorade, Kansas, Missouri,
and many others.
Our graduates are in great demand and are usually placed at least a month in
advance of graduation. However, they are not permitted to actually perform any
duties in a salon until they have taken their State Examination and have
received their license to practice.
If you desire any further information concerning our schools or the Cosmetology
Proffession in general, please advise and we shall be happy to comply with your
wishes.
