Tlic United War Chest of Tcxag through war fund
organizations in every county of thc state is charged with
the responsibility of raising $4,885,781.00 for the 17
approved war appeals of the National War Fund. The
national goal is $125,000,000.
Each of (he 17 participating agencies was carefully
budgeted to stretch every dollar contributed before it
received llic approval of thc President's War Relief
Omtrol Board.

Tcxans now are being asked to take a Texan's share
in heir County War Funds to aid three fronts with one
gill -the Military Front, the United Nations Front, and
the Home Front. Remember, President Roosevelt has
said that a share in the National War Fund is a share in
winning the war. Use this "Victory weapon." Give to your
County War Fond.
