Vetch Planting
It looks as though soil moisture
conditions in the sand land area of i
the district are going to be ideal
for the planting of Vetch and rye
about the firs-It of next month.
Some of the cooperators in the
.district who plan to plant vetch
this fall arc Arthur Gardner, and
Claude Green of the lower Stink-
ing Creek group, F W Simpson
Jay Pur'Vhrcy, J V Newman and
11 P> Tribbcy of the North Old
Glory group.
Reports from the Vetch seed as-
sociation at Dublin indicate that
the supply of seed is going to he
very short this year and any one
planning to sow Vetch should
make arrangements for their seed
in the next week or two. Plans
should also he 'made to fertilize all
plantings with super 'phosphate.
