Richard George Jaegen 86
former Haskell land owner and
farmer died at his home in Bre-
ckenridge Friday at 4:20 PM.
Ill for the past 18 days he
died of pneumonia.
He was born Nov 25. 1864 in
Fayettville County and was mar-
ried in 186"$ to Louise Helburg
at Ulni. Following her death in
1930 he married Mrs Emma
Burge who survives him.
Mr Jaeger lived in Haskell Co
from 1914 until 1943 when he
moved to Breckenridge. He
was a member of the Lutheran
Church •
Funeral services were held at
the Methodist Church in Haskll
with the Rev Jack D Wester the
Pinkerton Baptist pastor officia-
ting Burial was in the Willow
cemetery directed by the Hold-
en Funeral Home
Grandsons acted as pall bearers
Beside the widow he is sur-
vived by three daughters. Mrs.
Ira Meil of Meadow; Mrs Erna
Holloway of Haskell; Mrs. Hat-
He Holloway of Haskell and 4
step children Mrs. JacleHine and
Mrs. Virgil Winn of Aspermont;
Garland Burge of Odessa and
Jack Burge of Midland and Jack
Burge of Stamford also 14 grand
children 20 great grand children
and one great great grand
child
The Aspermont Green Hornets
are sponsoring a basketball game
in the local gym next Wednesday
the net proceeds to go to the
March of Dimes.
They will play a team called
the Abilene Brick Company but
are really a bunch of boys from
ACC.
The Gren Hornets is a group
of Stonewall County all stars
and have not lost a game this
season—and have played some
good teams
G. O. (Bottles) Mason is the
manager of this team. If you
want to see a basket ball game
by men of college ability—and
help a good cause be at the local
