ed his mother, Mrs. A. B. Bingham
Saturday. Mrs. Mary Goawick has
gone to Dallas to visit her daugh-
ter, Mrs. Murray Grissom and fam-
ily.
Final Rites Held
Here For Mrs. Adams
Funeral services for Mrs. Rhoda
Adams. 84, were held at Old Sal-
tillo Methodist Church at 2:00
Saturday afternoon conducted by
Rev. D. C. Jensen of Grand Prairie
and Rev. Roy ‘Ilford of Garland.
Mrs. Adams died Thursday
morning in Grand Prairie where
she resided with her daughter,
Mrs. Bruce Crump. She was the
daughter of the late R. O. and
Julia Murdock Crump, pioneer
residents of Saltillo. She was a
member of the Baptist Church.
Her husband, J. L. Adams preced-
ed her in d^eath.
Survivors include two sons,
Roy Adams of Ft. Worth and Chas.
W. Adams of Garland; three daugh-
ters. Mrs. Bruce Crump and Mrs.
Frank Lockie of Grand Prairie
and Mrs. J. H. Fuller of Dallas;
one brother, G. C. Crump of Sal-
tillo; two sisters, Mrs. J. J. Mc-
Gill of Dallas and Mrs. J. W. Adair
of Saltillo; nine grandchildren and
twelve great grandchildren.
Interment was in Old Saltillo
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Guy
McFarlin, Ted Mockey, Mack Dil-
lon, Pat Sustaire, Aubrey Castle
and Thurman Taylor.
Among those attending the ser-
vice were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
Crump and Dwight, Mrs. Velma
Locke, and children, Mr. and Mrs.
